CH Oceantide's Salish Mermaid RN JH is a delight to live with. She is fast, incredibly smart and a cheeky little thing. I know most people don't think cheeky is a good thing but I sure do. I tells me she has a brain and is using it.

In Calgary at the toller specialty of Canada Salish and I competed in her first Rally trials. She went 3 for 3 with a second and 3rd place, only beaten by her Mom Charlotte. This earned her her Rally Novice title.

In September 2019,  expertly handled by Fano Guillermo Salish earned her Canadian Championship.

We are currently training in Rally, agility, obedience and field. Salish is excelling in her field work. She is super driven!

​In September 2020 Salish rocked the GRCBC hunt test and earned 2 legs towards her Junior Hunt title. Just a month later our Fraser Valley Retriever Training Club put on a small test. Salish again went in with style and earned her final leg to be able to sport the Junior Hunt title after her name.

In July 2022 Salish and I went to play in Kamloops. A great test put on by The Kamloops Gun Dog Club. She passed her Working Certificate Intermediate. She is now formally known as CH Oceantide's Salish Sea Mermaid RN JH WCI.

We are planning her second litter in the fall of 2022.
